TeleMental Health is the use of telecommunications technology to provide behavioral health services from a distance. I prefer to use this option on a limited basis, only as needed until clients are able to come back into the office for face-to-face session. We can only meet via TeleMental Health if you are an established client in my practice who typically meets with me in the office. Should the need for a TeleMental Health session arise though, here are some resources to get going.
1) Please complete the following screening questions so we can be sure that TeleMental Health is right for you.
2) Review and sign the following form at least 24 hours prior to our session. I cannot legally meet with you without this form.
3) Ensure you can access my waiting room (see link below) on the device you plan to use for session. This videoconferencing software is HIPPA compliant for your privacy and protection. The device you choose to use must have both video and audio capabilities, so we can both see and hear one another.
